Somewhere between self-learning and fine arts education, my creativity flourished in very talented artists' courses and studios.
My painting journey started more than two decades ago, inspiring every single day.
Working at the threshold of figuration and abstraction, forms dissolve and re-emerge through gesture, movement, and emotion in my paintings.
My love for painting began in primary school, where I received my first prize. When I started earning my own money, the first thing I did was enroll in a painting-on-wood course. This was followed by oil painting classes, including sketching, in an art studio, followed my many others. Since then, I have devoted many years to developing my knowledge and skills, exploring materials and forms.
My journey into painting is a quiet necessity—a moment for myself where peace, calm, and deep creation could nourish my soul. A life shaped by diplomacy, travel, and shifting cultural landscapes gradually opened a space for me to discover and live more fully through art. Consequently, I chose to fully inhabit this space, allowing art to become my primary language.
Since three years, I enjoy my new studio built in the garden of our home in Lasne, creating a dreamlike and inspiring environment allowed me to expand my artistic practice. My studio became a space of stillness, where time slows down. Surrounded by birdsong, my inner voice can emerge and take form through art.
